Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 2026

1. Overview

Syntene ("we", "our", "us") operates syntene.com and related services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have. By using our services, you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Conversation data: When a visitor interacts with a Syntene-powered concierge, the conversation content (name, contact details, preferences) is collected and delivered to the applicable business client. This data is used solely for lead qualification purposes.

Browser storage: We store language preferences and session identifiers in your browser's localStorage. No tracking cookies are used.

Usage data: Basic request metadata (IP address, timestamp, user agent) may be logged by our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) for security and abuse prevention. We do not access or store this data ourselves.

3. How We Use Information

Lead data collected through our concierges is transmitted directly to the business client who owns that concierge. We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond service delivery. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties, except as required by law.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Lead data is retained in our secure cloud storage for as long as the associated business account is active. Upon account termination, data is deleted within 30 days. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us via email at [email protected].

5. Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare's enterprise-grade global network. Access to stored data is restricted to authorized personnel only. We conduct regular security reviews.

6. Third-Party Services

We use established third-party infrastructure providers for core operations including hosting, content delivery, AI language processing, and notification delivery. Each service provider is bound by its own privacy and security obligations. Only the minimum necessary data is shared with each provider to deliver the service.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; object to processing; or request data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us via email at [email protected].

8. Children

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced via email or website update.
